Investigators say firefighting efforts at 1067 Pelissier were complicated by hoarding on the first floor.
Two overnight fires are under investigation.
Fire crews were called to a home at 1067 Pelissier Street around 3am. They found fire in the basement and on the first floor. It took about an hour to bring under control.
The Windsor Police Arson Unit is working with Windsor Fire in the investigation and have determined that the fire was intentionally set. Damage is estimated at approximately $50,000.
They were also called to a basement fire at 1566 Dougall around 5am. That fire was brought under control quickly.
Investigators say all residents of 1566 Dougall made it out uninjured and will remain displaced due to fire and smoke damage to the home.
