The Windsor Spitfires have announced plans to honour defenceman Ryan Ellis, by retiring his jersey in a ceremony on Saturday, January 30th, 2016, prior to the Spitfires-Knights game at the WFCU Centre.
“It’s going to be an honour to have my jersey retired,” Ellis said. “I can’t wait to see all my old friends in Windsor on January 30th.”
Details of the event will be released in the coming days.
