University Avenue under the Ambassador Bridge is now open.
Riverside Drive just west of Huron Church Road will close after the morning rush ends at 9am Thursday, to accommodate the final leg of bridge repairs needed to prevent falling debris.
There’s no timeline on the repair completion at this point.
The northbound curb lane of Huron Church Road near the bridge remains closed.
Bridge officials are installing planking to prevent debris from falling on the roads and sidewalks below.
