Leamington Teen Competing For Miss Earth

A Leamington teen will be competing for the title of Miss Earth in December.
Tatiana Maranhao beat out 11 other girls in the Miss Earth Canada competition that was held last Friday.
She says that she is hoping to be an environmental leader by getting involved with organizations such as World Wildlife Fund and raise awareness for wildlife protection and help end illegal poaching across the world.
Miss Earth is one of the most prestigious international pageants that is part of the “Big 3” including Miss Universe and Miss World.
This year it will be held in Vienna, Austria on December 5th.
