The City of Windsor’s Arts, Culture and Heritage Fund is looking to issue grants to individuals and cultural organizations to help stimulate creative and economic growth.
In 2014, the ACHF awarded over $80,000 to 34 projects that helped to build a strong creative community that contributes to a prosperous creative economy and to making Windsor an attractive and affordable place to live.
There will be two rounds of funding opportunities for individuals and organizations. Projects eligible for funding, will benefit one or more cultural sectors, and will develop new alliances and creative, innovative approaches. Funding will be distributed over two evaluation periods. Each project could be funded to a maximum of $5,000.
The city says it is anticipated that there will be more applications submitted than any given funding round can support.
