There is a speakeasy in Windsor that organizers want everyone to hear about and you won’t need a password at the door to get in.
This Friday, a one-time special night filled with a variety of racy acts showcasing their talent at A Night Out At A Walkerville Speakeasy happens at the Walkerville Brewery.
The stage will be packed with vintage vocals from singing blackbird Danielle Lembke, comedy from David “Squeeky Wheelz” and burlesque performances by Ruby Krueger from Cambridge and The Femmes Rebelles Guelph Troupe which features Ruby Moon, winner of the 2014 Strip Search Competition and the Canadian Regional Burly Pics, plus Olive von Topp and Lilith Lemons. You’ll also be treated to homegrown Windsor stars like Daisy Devine, Charlotte Chartreuse, La Petite Dangereuse and more. It’s all hosted by Kat Fox who is definitely the cat’s meow!
Tickets for couples at $30 per pair, or just $20 each. Doors open at 8pm and the sow starts at 9pm. Dress up for the Roaring Twenties costume contest and enjoy the prohibition era themed works by local Windsor artists.
