The Walkerville Brewery had a full house for the ninth annual Made In Windsor Holiday Sale’s opening night.
The Made In Windsor event was created for people who love handmade goods. It brings people together in the community and gives local crafters an opportunity to showcase their work to the public.
More than 200 people were present Friday evening at the brewery. Local indie musician Crissi Cochrane performed live.
This year, 26 local vendors are participating. Goods being sold include jewelry, knit wear, books, home décor and much more.
Event organizer Christine Rideout-Arkell says she loves buying handcrafted, local things.
“About 10 years ago I realized I wanted to bring people together to share my love of local goods,” she said. “I love doing the event as apart of the Holiday Walk because the whole neighbourhood is alive with activities. It’s a win-win for everybody.”
This is the last Made In Windsor Holiday Sale.
The sale will be open from 11am to 6pm on Saturday, Nov.22nd.
