Flooding caused problems on Windsor’s roads, in backyards and in basements, as heavy rain swept through the area all day.

Environment Canada issued a rainfall warning around 8pm, warning of total rainfall amounts of 50 to 70 mm tonight.

Much of western Essex county has already received 30 to 40 mm.

If you have flooding photos, send them to [email protected], post on our Facebook, or tweet us your photos.
