Kingsville’s Sunset Produce is taking their signature flavor on  tour of the United States, embarking on a three month food truck tour.

“Our goal with this tour is to get more face time with consumers and foodies who already love signature flavors like Campari, or who haven’t even heard of us before. We want to bring them the same flavor experience we live for everyday,” said CEO Paul Mastronardi.

The Sunset Flavor Tour is the first ever nationwide expedition for the company. Their Flavormobile, which is fully branded to feature popular tomato brands such as Campari, Kumato and Zima, will be stopping at a number of retailers, concerts, and community events across America.

“This is our opportunity to tell the greenhouse story, tell the Sunset story, and talk everything flavor,” continued Mastronardi. “A lot of people are curious about brands like Kumato, our brown tomato, or Zima, our bright orange snacking tomato and we want to open the conversation on flavor and healthy eating.”

The tour will visit Whole Foods on Mack Avenue in Detroit on Thursday August 7th from 11am to 5pm.
