Adventure Bay Water Park To Close Temporarily

Adventure Bay Water Park will close for several days later this month to fix a safety issue.
The City of Windsor will be adding a sand-based coating to the floor of the Water Park to improve traction for patrons.
The city says that even though the current epoxy-based flooring at the park meets all industry and safety standards, during the first weeks of operation, feedback from patrons has indicated that conditions could be improved.
The park will be closed as of at 7pm on Sunday, February 23rd and reopen at 4pm on Friday, February 28th.
The adjoining Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre is not affected and will remain open as usual.
