Sport competitions in Baseball and Tennis began early today at the 2013 International Children’s Games with a victory for Windsor-Essex.
Team Windsor-Essex boys baseball began by facing Team Detroit this afternoon at Father Cullen Field at Mic Mac Park.
Windsor took a quick lead with one run in the first inning. By the bottom of the 2nd, Detroit tied the game up. At the top of the 4th, Detroit made it 2-1. Windsor’s number 19, Jamison, made a big hit to tie the game 2-2 and he was folllwed by Jodoin bringing the game to 3-2.
Closing pitcher Krzeminski got the game winning out for a Windsor-Essex / Detroit final of 3-2.
Team Windsor-Essex Baseball plays next Friday morning at 9am vs Hong Kong.
