Environment Canada says that humidex values will reach between 40°C to 42°C or 104°F to 107°F today and will remain this way for the next several days.
A change in the weather pattern is expected Friday and humidex values will drop below the criteria level of 40°C or 104°F.
A Level Two Heat Alert is in effect for the next four days.
Be sure to drink plenty of water, take frequent breaks if you work outdoors, check in on the elderly and take it easy this week.
