A house fire in East Windsor has been extinguished and there are no injuries.
Fire broke out after 1pm in the 900 block of Jos. Janisse Avenue near Pillette Village.
Arriving firefighters discovered heavy smoke and flames at the rear of the house and determined the kitchen to be on fire.
The fire was quickly put out. No one was home at the time.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
