This year, the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada are celebrating their 100th anniversary. Since 1913 we have served over 472,000 children in Canada.
To celebrate, an online space has been launched called The Big Shout Out, where they are encouraging Canadians to write a post thanking someone who made a difference in their lives such as a friend, teacher, employer, family member, coach etc.
It’s a celebration of mentors that help lead and shape us into the people we are today. It’s an opportunity to say thank you to all of the individuals whose belief in someone else helped them to reach, and in some cases even exceed their potential.
