Hair Salon Robber Possibly Strikes Again, Robs Woman at Laundromat

Just before 10pm Monday police say that a 22-year-old was robbed at knifepoint while she was doing her laundry in a laundromat 1600 block of Tecumseh Road East.
The woman told police that she was approached in the laundromat by a male who brandished a knife and demanded money. The woman surrendered her purse and the male exited the rear (North) door of the business.
The woman ran to a convenience store across the street to call 911.
The suspect is described as male white, 35 years old, medium build, red/brown hair, dark stubble, 5’10”, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood on – pockets on the side, no glasses.
Police believe that the suspect is the same person responsible for two knifepoint robberies that occurred at hair salon businesses over the weekend.
In addition to the three, police are also investigating a fourth knifepoint robbery that occurred Saturday July 28th just after 4am in the area of Lincoln Rd and Vimy.
Police say a 25-year-old male was approached by a male suspect on a bicycle.
The suspect brandished a knife and asked for cash. The suspect fled on his bicycle Westbound from this location.
