Spits Lose Thanksgiving Monday Game to Sarnia in Overtime

In a rare Monday afternoon game, the Windsor Spitfires took on the Sarnia Sting at the WFCU Centre.
Windsor was on the board first with two goals scored within two minutes of each other by Nick Czinder and Michael Clarke. Sarnia remained scoreless at the end of the first giving Windsor a two point lead heading into the second.
Windsor scored quick into the second period with defenseman Adrian Robertson bringing the Spits lead to three. Sarnia got on the board with a pair of goals scored within minutes apart by Ryan Kujawinski. At the end of the second the spits were up by one.
Nick Latta of the Sting scored the lone goal of the third period, and that tied the game at 3-3, sending it into overtime.
In overtime, Sarnia’s Domenic Alberga scored on the Spits net to win the game.
Final score: Windsor 3, Sarnia 4.
