Traveling Windsorites can look forward to new flight options this spring.
Porter Airlines has announced today they will be servicing Windsor Airport starting April 27.
Porter will offer flights from Windsor to Toronto with connections to Chicago, Halifax, Montreal, New York – Newark, Ottawa, Quebec City, St. John’s, Sudbury and Thunder Bay.
This will create competition for Air Canada Jazz flights as Porter’s fares are considerably more affordable. In fact, Porter is offering fares at nearly half the going rate for flights with Air Canada.
The average fare from Windsor to Toronto with Air Canada Jazz is $217 one way. Porter Airlines will be offering the same flight for $89 one way.
