The University of Windsor’s International Student Society will be hosting it’s sixth annual Festival of Lights – Celebration of Diversity. The event being held at the CAW student centre is described as a “multicultural extravaganza that celebrates the diversity represented on our campus.” The night gives students and staff a chance to mingle and enjoy the University of Windsor’s diverse atmosphere.
The fun starts at 7pm on November 5, 2010, and runs until 11pm. The event is free for everyone. There will be prizes for the best dressed, so come in your traditional clothing! There will be a number of multicultural performances and an after-party beginning at 10pm at the Thirsty Scholar pub, in the basement of the CAW centre. Funds raised from the after-party will be used to support bursaries for International students at the University.
More information on the event can be found at the International Student Society’s webpage and on Facebook.
