City Of Windsor Recruiting New Firefighters, Applications Now Available

Windsor Fire and Rescue Services, a department of the City of Windsor, is looking for new firefighter recruits and the City’s Human Resources Department has announced that the application process for 2012 has now started.
To be considered for the 2012 Windsor Fire Fighter Recruitment program, the City of Windsor says the minimum requirements are:
- At time of application, an applicant must be eighteen years of age or older.
- At time of application, an applicant must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- At time of application, an applicant must possess an Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency.
- At time of hire, an applicant must provide proof of a valid Province of Ontario Class “D” driver’s licence with “Z” endorsement.
Interested applicants have until noon on Monday September 24th 2012 to complete the application process and the City says that late applications will not be accepted.
