Windsor Police have released details about a bomb threat that took place yesterday morning at a probation office in the 2400 block of Dougall Avenue.
Police say their officers were called just before noon Wednesday regarding the possibility of a bomb in the building. They say no threat was made by phone, but the incident stemmed from a concerned worker.
Windsor Police Staff Sergeant Stephen Bodri says that officers checked the premises for a report of a ticking sound and determined the ticking was actually “the vibration of an air conditioning cooler against a light fixture on the ceiling”.
