The Bird’s Den mixes old with new in their home décor and vintage clothing shop at 4783 Wyandotte Street East.

The shop had their grand opening on June 6 and is the newest addition to the Pillette Village area, which already hosts a collection of vintage and antique stores.

“We love the neighbourhood,” said co-owner Rose-Anne Culver.

The Bird’s Den wanted to offer something a little bit different by having several new but vintage inspired items. The shop is beautifully decorated and well organized, including a kitchen nook full of antique dishes and cook books. Other items include jewellery, records, games, and furniture.

Vintage shoppers will be delighted with the large selection of women’s and men’s clothing and accessories. Children clothes are also available, including the unique Dancing Rose Children’s Wear created by Rose-Anne Culver.

“I take vintage patterns from the 50s and 60s and vintage pillow cases and I turn them into children’s wear,” said Culver.
