Construction will begin this week at S. Budimir Park in LaSalle to make the playground more accessible.
The upgrade includes adding a path from Bishop Street to the playground area and changing out the protective base around the playground from the current pea stone to an engineered wood fiber.
This project is estimated to take about three weeks. The playground equipment will be closed until the project is completed.
