The Island Unplugged Pelee Island Music Festival has announced that the 2022 festival has been cancelled.
“With continued uncertainty around the safety of large group gatherings and potential for continued capacity restrictions on our ferry system, we are unable to plan an event we love,” said a statement from festival organizers.
They say that they rely entirely on volunteers to organize the festival, and it takes months to get all the moving parts in place.
They hope to be back in 2023.
