Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare reports that 14 patients and 30 Healthcare workers have tested positive for COVID-19.

“As we continue to do prevalence testing, we are receiving more positive results,” said a news release from the healthcare facility.

“The investigation into the outbreak continues, and in some cases, it is difficult to categorically assign these positive results to the outbreak at this time. In the interests of transparency, we will be reporting ALL positive results, although they may or may not be related to the outbreak. At the conclusion of the outbreak and when we have completed the investigation, we will make any needed adjustments to the results allocated to the outbreak and those associated with community spread.”

Effective Tuesday, December 8th, 2020, Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare will begin readmitting patients on 2N in Emara to support system flow.

They continue to pause all admissions to all other inpatient units excluding mental health.
