The 6th Annual Windsor Polar Plunge, in benefit of the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics, filled up the Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre Friday evening.
Participants were freezin’ for a reason jumping in to a cold pool of water just outside of the Aquatic Centre. Onlookers cheered on the brave jumpers, supporting their fundraising efforts and the Special Olympics all while having some fun.
Over $200,000.00 has been raised locally at the Windsor-Essex Polar Plunges since 2015, with this year yielding over 200 plungers.
