Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island has won the Tourism Marketing and Travel Media Award of Excellence Award – Tourism Marketing Campaign Over $50k at the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario’s Ontario Tourism Summit.

The award is for the ‘Where Can W.E. Take You’ branding campaign launched in April 2018. The fully-integrated/multimedia campaign was to reflect and convey the tourism offerings that prospective visitors would find waiting for them throughout Windsor

In addition, Tourism Windsor Essex was also recognized for its part in the ‘Culinary Trails in Ontario’s Southwest’ featuring our EPIC Wineries, Barrels Bottles & Brews Trail and Eat Drink Dine Kingsville, receiving the Travel Media Award.

Tourism Windsor Essex as also a finalist for the Tourism Innovator of the Year Award at the 2019 Tourism Industry Awards of Excellence for the development of the Ontario Tourism Innovation Lab, a non-profit initiative that was created to find, foster and support new tourism ideas, experiences and partnerships in the region.
