Kieran McKenzie has been hired as the new Director of Development and Donor Relations at Big Brothers Big Sisters Windsor-Essex .
McKenzie, a recently elected Windsor City Councillor comes to the Agency after spending a 12 years as an Assistant to Brian Masse M.P. (Windsor West). Prior to accepting this position McKenzie served on the Agency’s Board of Directors for nearly 5 years.
“I am incredibly thrilled to have the opportunity to continue to work with Big Brothers Big Sisters Windsor-Essex. For decades this Agency has been positively contributing to the well-being of our children and as a result to the community as a whole. Understanding the crucial work that we do I am honoured to accept this position and look forward to working with my new colleagues and all stakeholders invested in the mentorship movement,” McKenzie said.
McKenzie joins Big Brothers Big Sisters Windsor-Essex during the Bowl for Kids Sake week. This is the Agency’s highest revenue generating initiative taking place over 2 weekends. This past weekend bowlers rolled at Empire Lanes in Leamington, this Friday and Saturday hundreds of bowlers will hit the lanes at the Rose Bowl to support youth mentorship across the region.
