New Winter Woodland And Decorations To Greet Santa At Devonshire Mall Sunday

When Santa arrives at Devonshire Mall this Sunday, he will be greeted by a specially designed new home and mall Christmas decorations.

After undergoing an extensive RFP process, “Studio Artefact” located in Montreal, Quebec, the contract to build the décor package for the mall.

“With the redevelopment of the entire shopping centre, this is the right time to introduce the new Christmas décor package to further enhance the look and feel of Devonshire Mall and embrace the season. The centre’s $70M project is almost complete, and we anticipate the décor will be welcomed and enjoyed by our customers and retailers alike”, said Chris Savard, General Manager.

Santa arrives by helicopter at 11am in the parking lot near Howard Avenue on Sunday, November 18th. After landing and greeting awaiting families, Santa will make his way to his new “Winter Woodland” home located in front of Hudson’s Bay.

The Windsor Youth Optimist Marching Band, CLaroL the Clown and The Stilt Guys will be on hand for the celebration.

Sparky’s Toy Drive will also join the festivities collecting new, unwrapped toys for children in our community.
