The Town of Amherstburg is getting two new fire trucks to replaced an older tanker unit and fire engine.
Town Council has approved the purchase of one tanker/pumper and one rescue/pumper firefighting apparatus at a cost of $817,016.
The Town plans to sell the current tanker and will use the engine to partially address current challenges with providing protection to Boblo Island.
