Here is a look at highway construction in the County of Essex.
County Road 8:
At the Canard River (Bow String Bridge) will be closed for bridge rehabilitation until September 2nd.
County Road 42:
From County Road 19 to Lesperance road will have lane restrictions for watermain construction from July 4th to August 12, 2016.
County Road 42:
County Road 42 from Patillo Road to County Road 21 will be closed from August 2nd, 2016 to August 26th, 2016.
County Road 20:
From County Road 31 westerly to Whitewood Road will have lane restrictions from to August 19th, 2016.
County Road 50:
From Islandview Lane to Holiday Bluff Drive will have lane restrictions from August 2nd to August 19th, 2016.
Road Painting Operations:
Line painting on County Roads will occur throughout the warmer months. The operations are clearly identified with truck mounted signs. To avoid driving in the “wet paint” do not attempt to pass these slow moving trucks.
