Amherstburg Police Warn About An Alarming Rate Of Thefts From Vehicles

Police in Amherstburg say that thefts from vehicles is increasing at an alarming rate.

They say that over the past week there has been an excess of 25 vehicles entered. The suspect(s) are stealing everything from loose change to sunglasses and electronic equipment.

They say that it appears the thefts are concentrated to subdivision areas of town and are happening during the overnight hours.

Police say that you should always roll up your vehicle’s windows and lock the doors and not to leave valuables in the vehicle including loose change.
