Construction has started on a new restaurant on Walker Road.
Lone Star Texas Grill — which was founded in 1986 by late NFL / Canadian Football League player Val Belcher — and is described as “Canada’s original Tex-Mex restaurant full of big bold tastes and Texas-sized fun”.
The company says they were the first Tex-Mex restaurant to “stampede into Canada” in 1986 and have recently expanded to 21 locations across Ontario.
The restaurant features ribs, mesquite-grilled steaks, fajitas and plenty of “southern spirit”.
