Based on water samples taken on July 10th by the the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit swimming is not recommended at Cedar Beach in Kingsville, Cedar Island Beach in Kingsville, Colchester Beach in Essex, Holiday Beach in Amherstburg, Lakeside Beach in Kingsville, Northwest Beach at Point Pelee, and Seacliff Beach in Leamington and West Belle River Beach in Lakeshore.
Sandpoint Beach in Windsor is closed because the bacteria has reached a health hazard level of more than 1000.
