Police Week at Devonshire Mall kicks off today and continues all weekend.
Throughout the mall there will be displays from:
- University of Windsor Campus Police
- Canadian Pacific Railway Police
- Correction Service-Windsor Jail
- Victim Services
- The Safety Village
- Emergency Medical Service (EMS)
- Windsor Essex County Humane Society
- H.M.C.S Hunter (Navy)
- Values, Influences and Peers – WECDSB & GECDSB
- Crime Stoppers – “Bail or Jail”
- Paws for a Cause
- Ministry of Transportation
- Canada Border Services Agency
- Essex County Diversion Program
- Windsor Regiment (MILITARY)
- Royal Canadian Mounted Police
- Ontario Provincial Police
- Ministry of Natural Resources
- Windsor Police Service
On Saturday May 18th from 10am to 2pm, there will be a free car seat clinic from Safe Seats Save Children. Come out to learn if your car seat has been installed correctly, or have a technician install one for you free.
Also on Saturday from 3pm to 5pm and 6pm to 8pm, Windsor Fire and Rescue will have a fire truck on display in the outdoor parking lot of the Devonshire Mall.
