Walter Gretzky will coach a team of NHL Alumni players as they take on a team of Law Enforcement All Stars at the WFCU Centre on Friday, April 26that 7pm. Proceeds from the NHL Alumni Game will go to the Special Olympics of Ontario.
Tickets are the NHL Alumni Game are available now by phone 1-866-969-WFCU (9328), in person at the TekSavvy.com Box Office located inside Gate 2 of the WFCU Centre, or online at http://www.wfcu-centre.com. All tickets are general admission.
Among the NHL Alumni to take the ice will be Hall of Famer Marcel Dionne, Brent Gretzky (brother of Wayne and Keith Gretzky), Windsor native Bruce Shoebottom, former Red Wing goaltender Mark Laforest, and sniper Rick Vaive who was the first Maple Leaf to score 50+ goals in three consecutive seasons, and acting as an honorary referee will be the legendary NHL tough guy Dave Hutchison. Additional NHL Alumni include: Bill Derlago, Todd Harvey, Dan Daoust, Ken Houston, Gary Leeman, Dennis Maruk and Pat Ribble.
The NHL Alumni will treat fans to a skill competition and a game with the Law Enforcement All Stars that will feature great hockey skills mixed with fun and entertainment as the world-class players are sure to have a few practical jokes up their sleeves.
