The 48 Hour Flick Fest is the ‘ultimate filmmaking challenge’, part of the Windsor International Film Festival, where groups of filmmakers are given only forty-eight hours to write, direct and score a short film that conforms to a number of plot themes outlined by the competition rules.
Each team will be given a theme, a prop, and a line of dialogue to include in the film. The writing, shooting, editing and adding of a musical soundtrack, must occur within the 48 hour window beginning Friday evening October 19th at 7pm, and ending Sunday October 21st at 7pm.
Films submitted on time will be screened and judged by the 48 Flick Fest panel.
The kickoff takes place in the Port of Windsor Room at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts on Friday.
