The Windsor Rock Wall is back for a brand new exhibition at a new location.
The Windsor Rock Wall depicts the visual landscape of bands that have hit the Windsor music scene at one point in time.
The Rock Wall will be on display at the AGW in the Betty F. Wilkinson Room during regular public hours until September 9th.
This Thursday from 5-7pm, Tom Lucier, developer of the Windsor Rock Wall will be hosting an “Art Lounge” event. The free event will feature live music and refreshments.
While the Rock Wall is installed at the AGW, Lucier will actively expand the project based on input from local musicians.
“The Windsor Rock Wall contains any band that has played live shows…even if it was just one time, as long as it was in front of a crowd. We accepted all genres of music, including cover bands, from any era. So far, rock has dominated, but pop, metal, screamo, electronic, folk, country, jazz, blues and more all have found their way onto the Wall. As long as the roots of the band was/is in Windsor/Essex, it’s fair game,” said Lucier in a release.
