Blight House on University West, Next to Bubi’s, Torn Down

A fire-damaged house on University Avenue West was torn down over the weekend. The house which had become a serious piece of “blight” for the neighbourhood was located between Bubi’s Awesome Eats and Herold Press Limited. Fire destroyed the interior causing the second floor to cave in during an early morning weeked blaze over a year ago. The property had sat ever since.
The owners of the property had plans to expand Bubi’s before the fire burned the house down.
