Keeping the Oktoberfest traditions alive, the Bavarian Club has teamed up with Heimat Windsor Banquet Centre in Ford City to present Oktoberfest 2016.

Since 1971 the annual tradition was held at the Teutonia Club, but that closed back in May. Since then a new German hall opened up in Ford City called Heimat Windsor Banquet Centre. It has been home to the Bavarian Club for such events as Maifest, Carrousel of Nations and now Oktoberfest.

The three days festival takes place from Thursday, September 29th to Saturday, October 1st and will kick off at 6pm on Thursday when Mayor Drew Dilkens officially opens it with the traditional tapping of the first Oktoberfest keg.

The three days will be packed with live music, traditional dances performed by the Bavarian Club, traditional Oktoberfest food and drinks.

More information can be found on their website found here.
