VIDEO: Store In Tecumseh Robbed But Clerk Fights Back

OPP are currently investigating a robbery in Tecumseh at Low Price Convenience located at the corner of St Thomas Street and St Pierre Street.

Police say that it happened around 11:20am on Friday, August 26th.

The lone suspect, who was armed a claw hammer, entered the store and demanded money. The store clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of money. Once the suspect was in possession of the cash, he fled, on foot, running down St Thomas Street. No one was injured during the course of the robbery.

The suspect was wearing sunglasses, a grey hooded sweatshirt, and white running shoes.

Windsor Police are investigating a similar robbery from the Lauzon Road area where a hammer was utilized and the suspect appears similar in the video.
