On Tuesday evening, Joe Barile, General Manager of Essex Powerlines, presented one of four $10,000 cheques to the Town of Tecumseh to be invested in the local youth.

“On behalf of the coaches, parents and players of Tecumseh Minor Baseball Association, we are grateful to the Essex Power Youth in Community Fund,” said Rod Munro, Vice President of Tecumseh Minor Baseball Association. “The generous financial support of our organization helps support many young people of our community by providing the opportunity to play ball by helping to offset the cost of registration.”

Leamington, Amherstburg, and LaSalle will also each receive $10,000.

This is the 3rd year that Essex Power Corporation has donated to the youth within the communities in which they serve.
