Road Closures In Amherstburg For Culvert Rehabilitation

Work is about to get underway in the Town of Amherstburg on the rehabilitation of two culverts and bridges.
Alma Street between Meloche Road and 3rd Concession North will be closed for the replacement of the culvert at Faucher Drain Upper Portion.
4th Concession North between Alma Street and Texas Road will be closed for the replacement of the culvert at Darrah Drain.
Work is anticipated to commence starting Monday, October 26th, 2015 and will continue until projects are complete.
During construction, residents are advised to reduce speed, obey all traffic signs, and watch for Flag Persons in construction zones. Parents are advised to ensure that children stay away from work areas. Parents will be contacted by the school bus company if there is an alteration to school bus
schedules or pick up locations during construction.
