The second funding round in 2015 of The Arts, Culture and Heritage Fund is now underway.

The fund awards grants to individuals and cultural organizations to help stimulate creative and economic growth.

In 2014, the ACHF awarded over $80,000 to 34 exciting projects that are helping to build a strong creative community. The first 2015 funding round received 34 applications, with a combined ask of $147,980. The competition was intense vying for the $43,600 available in funding. In total, 17 projects received funding.

Applications for the second round of funding are being accepted until September 25th, 2015 at 3pm. Each project could be funded to a maximum of $5,000. It is anticipated that there will be more applications submitted than any given funding round can support.

Further details on the program guidelines and objectives, application process, eligibility requirements, and current deadlines are available online at www.achfwindsor.ca.  As well, two public information sessions have been scheduled and will be held at the Coach House at Willistead Manor on Monday September 14th, 2015 at 7pm and Tuesday September 22nd, 2015 at 5:30pm.
