Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman make a grand entrance in their usual getups

Discovery Channel science and engineering superheroes Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage made the WFCU Centre blow up, Thursday night. Well, actually, they weren’t allowed to do that, but they sure tried.

The co-hosts of the Emmy-nominated TV series MythBusters brought fans on stage and demonstrated the laws of physics during a stop in Windsor and showed the audience their unique, mind-blowing and mind-twisting approaches to science.

Adam and Jamie talk about inviting fans onto stage . . . but only if you sign a waiver first

Adam demonstrates his first love as a young child: juggling

…and takes it to a whole new level.

Time to invite fans up on stage.

Sign that waiver

For their first physics demonstration, the MythBusters invited four fans to the stage to sit on the right edges of chairs…

…and told them to lie back.

Now lets pull out the chairs!

And they didn’t need the chairs, their bodies held them up!

But eventually they collapsed.

“You,” says Adam.

Big hammer

“Ok young man, I want you to lift both of us off the stage…,” says Adam.

“…with the help of this contraption.”

Thanks to physics, it was an easy feat for the young man.
