Police Investigating String Of Break And Enters In Lakeshore And Tecumseh

Essex County OPP are currently investigating a string residential of break and enters in the Lakeshore and Tecumseh areas where jewellery was targeted.
Police say that they believe that a number of incidents may be related and that the suspects are surveilling the targeted residences prior to entry in the morning hours to see when the homeowners are leaving and then approach the residence for entry.
One of the suspects is believed to be a female in her 40’s, approximately 5’6”, with reddish-brown shoulder length hair with a medium to heavy build. She was wearing a long trench style jacket. She was described as speaking with an undetermined accent. This suspect was observed to have entered a four door silver sedan after fleeing the scene of one of the break and enters.
Investigators are asking residents to contact them if they believe they may have had contact or observed this female or vehicle in the Tecumseh or Lakeshore areas.
