Teaching and graduate assistants at the University of Windsor have ratified their new collective agreement. They rejected a previous tentative deal back in February.

The 1,200 employees are members of CUPE Local 4580.

Details of the new contract were not released.

Meanwhile, talks between the university and the Windsor University Faculty Association continue next week. They represent 850 academic staff including faculty, librarians and sessional instructors.

That contract expires at the end of June.
