UWindsor Student Wins Luxury SUV; Surprised At His Door By Camera Crew

A UWindsor student won his dream car and was in disbelief when a camera crew surprised him at his house near the University on a snowy Wednesday afternoon.

Gerald Agbalizu got the “hot news” that he had won a $90,000 Range Rover Sport during an incredibly bitter day following the snow storm Windsor got dumped with.

When Andrew Adam from Stature Marketing surprised Gerald at his door, Gerald really couldn’t quite believe what he was being told.

Then he saw the car itself parked 20 yards from his house.

How did Gerald win? The UWindsor student entered Best of the Best, a UK-based company that gives away prizes including super cars every two weeks.

The company has given away over $25 million dollars (or £14 million) in prizes since 1999 and most of the winners are from Europe.

Stature Marketing, a Windsor based marketing company, was contacted by Best of the Best to arrange the surprise and President Andrew Adam carried a life size cutout of Best of the Best founder William Hindmarch.

Stature says the Sport is the perfect car for snowy roads. Gerald didn’t waste any time hopping behind the wheel.
