The glitz and glam of a 1950s Vegas stage show will take over the Chrysler Theatre in Downtown starting this weekend.

St. Clair College’s most spectacular holiday show yet features over 70 performers, including Elvis and other personalities from the era performing Christmas songs.

Director Katherine Kaszas says the show takes a look into the lives of the performers and personalities that made up the era of great vintage Vegas stage shows.

The show features actors, actresses and performers from St. Clair’s Music Theatre Performance and Entertainment Technology programs.

Kaszas says more than 100 people came together to make the student-driven performance happen. “We’ve revitalized some of the biggest hits from the era, with an added festive spin, to create an exhilarating, energetic production that is the perfect start to the holiday season.”

Show times are December 7th, 11th, 12th and 13th at 7:30 pm and on December 14th at 3pm. Tickets are $20 for adults, students are $10 and children $5.
