Plans to celebrate the University of Windsor’s 50th Anniversary are back on track.

The previous planned celebration weekend for this past September saw many events cut or postponed due to the strike on campus by CUPE 1393.

With the strike behind them, the University is planning a fall festival to take place on Wednesday Novebmer 20th.

The outdoor event will feature vegetarian chili, crusty rolls and butter, apple fritters and cinnamon twists, roasted chestnuts, bushels of local apples, bottled water, live entertainment and giveaways. Portable heaters will keep things toasty.

It will take pace from noon to 1:30pm in the Student Courtyard next to the CAW Student Centre.
