Chatham-Kent Police have seized 440 pot plants from various corn fields in the Chatham area over the past several days.
Constable Renee Cowell says police acted on information provided by the public and eradicated 440 mature marijuana plants, worth approximately $440,000, from corn fields throughout the municipality.
The pot plants are set to be destroyed.
